Renowned artist Rouble Nagi generously gifted this innovative space, adding to her contributions in various locations across the region. Nagi, recognized for her work in art, literature, and social causes, has been particularly instrumental in empowering women in rural Kashmir through skill development initiatives and fostering village entrepreneurs under her Art Foundation.

The ‘India Selfie Point’ was officially opened by the Dagger Division, in the presence of senior army officials and distinguished civilians from Uri. Positioned strategically along NH-44, the selfie point offers an immersive and interactive space designed to revolutionize the way visitors capture and share moments in the remote border region of Uri in Baramulla district.
