Youth Empowerment and Holistic Living in focus for PRAYAS

From nutrition to spiritual inculcation, from meditation to performing arts and education, the panel presented a variety of views on holistic living…reports Asian Lite News

A regional G20 event was organised to underscore the significance of youth empowerment and holistic living in today’s era. Organised by the charitable organisation PRAYAS at Mayfair Convention- Bhubaneshwar, the event included cultural presentations, panel discussions, and speeches by dignitaries.

Lamp Lighting at PRAYAS G20 event

The program began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by an invocation presented by Ragasudha Vinjamuri who was invited from London. Priyadarshi Mishra, Founder of PRAYAS presented an introductory speech. An interesting panel discussion on what constitutes holistic living was moderated by Diksha Tiwari, Executive Member of Parichay. Some of the distinguished panelists who spoke on the occasion were Jagadananda, Civil Society Leader and Co-Founder of CYSD, Rotarian Ashwini Kar, Prof. Triloki Pandey- University of California, Rajyogini Leena, Director- BK Bhubaneshwar, Harihar Panda- Thakur Anukulchandra Satsang, Tanaya Patnaik, Executive Director- Sambad Group, Omm Priyadarshi Chhotaroy- G20 Youth and Prime Minister Young Author Awardee, among others.

From nutrition to spiritual inculcation, from meditation to performing arts and education, the esteemed panel presented a variety of views on holistic living.

Presented on the occasion were also Odissi and Odisha tribal dance under the guidance of renowned dancer-choreographer Saswat Joshi. Encouragement and empowerment of tribal communities were also showcased. Guests of Honour included Padma Shri Ileana Citaristi, renowned Italian Odissi and Chhau dancer and actor Akash Dasnayak.
