Britain’s Got Talent Star Joins Children’s Choir Concerts

15-year-old singing sensation to celebrate Bob Marley’s 80th birthday with a worldwide singalong in February

Souparnika Nair, affectionately known as ‘Sou’, is about to embark on a new and thrilling chapter in her music career. The 15-year-old singer, who gained worldwide recognition on Britain’s Got Talent with her captivating rendition of “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman, is joining the renowned Young Voices choir for a series of concerts across the UK.

Having already earned a devoted following of over 100,000 YouTube subscribers and 100 million views, Souparnika’s career began at just 9 years old with a live performance on BBC Radio Suffolk. Since then, she has become a household name, gracing shows like Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and Blue Peter, and debuting in musical theatre as Tomika in the School of Rock UK tour.

In 2025, Sou will join forces with other celebrated artists, including Tommy Blaize and MC Grammar, to perform in the world’s largest children’s choir concerts. These spectacular events will unite thousands of school children and teachers in a celebration of music in Sheffield, Birmingham, London, and Manchester, beginning this January.

In addition to these electrifying concerts, Sou will participate in a unique Worldwide Singalong event to celebrate Bob Marley’s 80th birthday. The free event will be streamed live from Co-op Live in Manchester on February 6th at 3 pm GMT, uniting voices from across the globe in tribute to the legendary musician.

Souparnika shared her excitement, saying, “I’m incredibly excited to be part of Young Voices. The energy at the concerts will be amazing, singing for thousands of primary school children is the best part, which I can’t stop thinking about! It’s also a privilege to participate in the Worldwide Singalong in tribute to Bob Marley—uniting people across the globe to sing together and honour his legacy.”
