FINAL JOURNEY

Tens of Thousands paid their respects to veteran communist leader VS Achuthanandan whose funeral was held on Wednesday. VS, as he was popularly known, died on Monday at the age of 101. He was a founding member of the Communist Party and a former chief minister of Kerala.
