Tejashwi Defends Father Over ‘Modi’s Family’ Remark

Tejashwi Yadav further challenged the PM’s claims of treating the entire nation as his family, citing the handling of recent farmers’ protests as contradictory to this assertion…reports Asian Lite News

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has launched a scathing attack on the ruling BJP, accusing them of employing diversionary tactics through the “Modi ka Parivaar” narrative. This comes in response to his father Lalu Prasad’s recent critique of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Yadav likened this rhetoric to the “Main Bhi Chowkidar” campaign of 2019, initiated by Rahul Gandhi, highlighting the ongoing political rhetoric.

In a sarcastic tone, Yadav acknowledged the impact of his father’s words, questioning the BJP’s focus on issues like poverty and unemployment. Lalu Prasad, at a recent rally, had made remarks about PM Modi’s family status, aiming to discredit his criticism of dynastic politics.

Tejashwi Yadav further challenged the PM’s claims of treating the entire nation as his family, citing the handling of recent farmers’ protests as contradictory to this assertion. He emphasized the widespread discontent among the population, questioning the government’s claims of familial inclusivity.

Defending his father’s comments on PM Modi’s adherence to Hindu traditions, Yadav highlighted his family’s devout Hindu practices. He questioned the PM’s decision not to follow established customs, leaving it to PM Modi to justify.

Turning his attention to Bihar’s governance, Yadav criticized the NDA government’s alleged neglect of job creation and welfare schemes initiated during the RJD’s tenure. He accused the NDA of prioritizing personal attacks over governance, highlighting delays in cabinet expansions and budgetary approvals.

Yadav expressed confidence in the Mahagathbandhan’s electoral prospects, asserting their dominance in Bihar. He dismissed the BJP’s delays in candidate announcements as indicative of internal discord within the NDA.

However, Yadav remained evasive on queries regarding Chirag Paswan’s political maneuvers, stressing his commitment to the Mahagathbandhan. Speculations about Chirag’s potential defection from the NDA were brushed aside by Yadav, leaving the decision to Chirag.

Amid BJP’s accusations of financial inducements at Mahagathbandhan rallies, Yadav challenged them to unleash investigative agencies on the attendees, demonstrating his defiance against BJP’s allegations.

In the face of potential defections and BJP’s electoral taunts, Yadav remained resolute in his party’s commitment to legal recourse and electoral strategies, signaling a fierce political battle in Bihar’s political landscape.
