Recipe: French Toast

Ingredients

  1. Bread – 4 slices
  2. Egg – 2
  3. Milk – ¾ cup
  4. Cream – ¼ cup
  5. Sugar – 2 tbsp
  6. Cinnamon – ½ tsp
  7. Salt – a pinch
  8. Maple Syrup –
  9. Bananas – for garnish
  10. Butter – 1 to 3 tbsp

Method

  1. In a bowl add the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, cinnamon and salt and mix everything well with a whisk. Keep aside.
  2. Cut all the crust of the bread and soak each slice one by one with the mixture. Make sure that all the slices are well – coated.
  3. On a medium flame, butter the pan. Cook the soaked bread for 2 mins. Cook all the sides until light golden color.
  4. Garnish with bananas and maple syrup on top
