Protest in UK against Sudhakaran’ s arrest

People have grown aware of the baselessness of the fabricated story concocted by the CPM to ensnare him and, by extension, the Congress party…reports Asian Lite News

The IOC UK held widespread demonstrations in the United Kingdom as the LDF government detained K Sudhakaran under allegedly fabricated charges, sparking outrage. The IOC (UK) Kerala Chapter spearheaded the protests in solidarity with Sudhakaran, with the participation of Alathur MP Ramya Haridas. Congress workers in the UK expressed their dissent through spirited slogans.

The arrest of Sudhakaran on false grounds is believed to be a desperate attempt by the tainted CPM and LDF government to salvage their reputation marred by allegations of fraud, corruption, and embezzlement.

While Sudhakaran was granted bail, the abruptness of his arrest raises suspicions surrounding the case, according to the IOC (UK) Kerala Chapter. President Suju Daniel, spokesperson Ajith Muthayil, and other IOC office bearers led the protests, joined by representatives from various Regional and Youth Committees.

The motive behind the arrest appears to be an attempt to discredit Sudhakaran, who poses a challenge to the CPM. People have grown aware of the senselessness of the fabricated story concocted by the CPM to ensnare him and, by extension, the Congress party.

Critics argue that the zeal displayed in apprehending accused CPM members and supporters is often absent when dealing with their misdeeds. The integrity of the Kerala Police, once respected, has been compromised by those in power. IOC (UK) officials also contend that the Kerala Police have been unfairly scapegoated for the government’s pervasive corruption.
