Queens Insta triumphs in Dreamvestor contest

Queens Insta, an establishment operating under the auspices of the State Commerce Department, has achieved a remarkable triumph in the highly anticipated Dreamvestor competition, dedicated to nurture innovative business ideas. The prestigious awards were presented by Minister P. Rajeev during a ceremonious event at the exquisite Taj Gateway resort in Kochi.

Based in Kozhikode, Queens Insta was recognized for their ingenious concept, ‘Instant Omelette,’ a venture that can craft personalized omelettes within a minute. The visionary behind this concept, P. Arjun, received the award from Minister P. Rajeev.

Stembyu, a prominent player in the robotics sector, secured the second position, known for providing educational classes that connect students with robotics. K.G. Harish, the founder and proprietor, was honoured with a prestigious distinction. The third spot was claimed by Tutar, an e-learning platform. The institution’s Chief Technical Officer, Shyam Pradeep, received recognition for his contributions.

Dreamvestor, initiated to cultivate novel business concepts and diverse entrepreneurial dreams, commenced its journey in 2022. The competition, inaugurated by Minister P. Rajeev on November 22 in Thiruvananthapuram, consisted of four rounds, culminated in the grand finale on July 14, 2023.

The first-place winners were awarded five lakh rupees each, while the second and third-place winners received three lakhs and two lakhs rupees respectively as part of the cash prize distribution. Additionally, institutions securing ranks from 4th to 10th received one lakh rupees each, and those ranking from 11th to 19th were granted twenty-five thousand rupees.

All finalists received certificates and mementos. The finals showcased passionate participants presenting innovative business ideas and unique entrepreneurial visions, reflecting their dedication and zeal. Among the 816 entries spanning various categories, the top 19 concepts were chosen for the final round. These participants represented diverse sectors, including agriculture and food processing, electronics and IT, business innovation, life sciences, and healthcare.

Dreamvestor’s core principle was to motivate talented young minds to showcase their expertise on international platforms, while also contributing to our nation’s growth. This competition empowered youth to excel in entrepreneurship and innovation, enriching our domestic market as well.

The competition acted as a catalyst for young talents to venture abroad, exporting their skills and efforts, thereby making significant contributions to other nations and our own. Spanning ages 18 to 35, this competition encompassed a wide age range, reflecting the participants’ diverse backgrounds seeking to showcase their business acumen and innovative ideas.
