Tanishq witnessed a successful Diwali season this year and this festive mood was evident at its flagship store in Meena Bazaar Dubai, which just celebrated its first anniversary.

Sustaining this momentum, Tanishq announced that it is expanding its footprint in the UAE with 3 new stores opening before the end of the year at Al Barsha Dubai, the iconic Dubai Mall and in the heart of Abu Dhabi City, at Hamdan Street.

“It’s safe to say that our first year in the UAE has surpassed expectations,” said Aditya Singh, Head – Jewellery International Business, Titan Company Limited. “We are excited to bring Tanishq’s superior craftsmanship, exclusive designs, inimitable customer service and guaranteed product quality to many more customers with these new store openings.” He adds that Titan strongly believes in the business potential of the UAE as well as the GCC region and plans to add to its portfolio of stores in the region within the next 2 years.

“At Tanishq we have always endeavored to be one with the place we call home. From the region’s architecture inspiring the store’s interiors to the traditional hospitality provided by our multilingual colleagues, all our stores in the UAE are going to have that stamp of authenticity and quality that make this region exciting for the brand.” he added.

The new stores will be located at Al Souq Al Kabeer, Meena Bazaar; La Maison Du Luxe, Dubai Mall, Luxury Avenue and Lulu Hypermarket, Ground Floor, Al Barsha, Dubai.

With the UAE Year of the Fiftieth being celebrated and UAE national day just around the corner, Tanishq has commemorated this momentous occasion with the launch of an exclusive UAE inspired jewellery collection that was also launched at the event.

Tanishq UAE collection

Imbued with symbolism and heritage, but through a contemporary lens, the collection captures the essence of the UAE whilst showcasing Tanishq’s design prowess and the expertise of its artisan craftsmen.

From stylized symbols such as the UAE flag, or the iconic falcon, the UAE’s National bird representing beauty, strength and agility, to the classic Arabic Dallah and the date palm, both strong signs of hospitality, and 7 shining stars to denote the unbreakable bond of the seven Emirates, the inspiration was converted into a stylish elegant representation of a nation with strong roots and a progress vision.

The collection offers extensive choice with more than 40 unique pieces including long intricate necklaces, colorful rings, lapel pins for men and women and earrings.

We wanted to create something that would be special to all the people who make UAE special. The Emiratis, the expatriates, tourists and business travelers –  together they symbolize the spirit of the union and it is this spirit that inspired us. The collection is for consumers who are modern, progressive, fashion conscious, and jewellery plays an integral role in their wardrobe.  They love experimenting and living in the moment. This collection is a celebration of life in the UAE,” added Vandana Bhalla, Marketing Head – International Business, Titan Company Limited.

Beate Steinfeld

“The collection was conceptualized with the iconic elements of UAE, its amazing 50 year journey and its aspiration going forward. Through every design, we’ve tried to encapsulate that vision of deep rooted culture and refreshing modernity. Even in crafting the collection we used a similar blend of age old traditional handicraft along with state-of-the-art modern technology. Special attention was paid to the intricacies so that each exquisite detail was taken care of, “added Beate Steinfeld, Trend & Design Head, Tanishq International. Tanishq currently has a presence of 340+ stores and is India’s most trusted jewellery brand with an extremely high brand recall.

“It was important to us to keep the collection versatile and discreet. The pieces of the collection lend themselves to the current trend of layering, and can be effortlessly mixed and matched for your own unique style expression. The collection can be worn with pride during the Year of the Fiftieth celebrations and would hopefully become a daily go-to key item and unmissable part of your jewellery box for years to come,” she concluded.

The pieces in the collection are priced between 700 AED and 7000 AED, making it accessible for all.
