Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will pay an official visit to Egypt on August 24-25 at the invitation of her Egyptian counterpart Sameh Hassan Shoukry….reports Asian Lite News

During her visit, Sushma Swaraj will call on President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, hold bilateral talks with her counterpart, meet Nabil ElAraby, secretary general of the League of Arab States, and other leaders.

She is scheduled to deliver a public address at the Diplomatic Club in Cairo, hosted by the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs.

India and Egypt have traditionally enjoyed close and friendly relations. The minister’s visit will provide an opportunity to review the entire gamut of bilateral and multilateral relations and exchange views with the Egyptian leadership covering the whole range of issues of mutual interest, said an official statement.
