Ruler of Sharjah Dr. Sheikh Sultan honours winners of third edition of Arab Family Award

H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, honoured the winners of the third edition of the Arab Family Award, held today at the Cultural Palace, Sharjah.

The list of those honoured was topped by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco, in recognition to his valuable contributions to the Arab family, including preserving the family fabric through reformatory and development projects. The award was received on behalf of the King of Morocco by Prince Moulay Rachid.

Among those present were Sheikh Salem Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler’s office, Rashid Ahmed bin al-Sheikh, Chief of the Emiri Court in Sharjah, Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, other senior officials, a number of ambassadors and members of diplomatic corps accredited to the UAE.

Jamal Obaid Al Bah, Chairman of the Arab Family Organisation, commended the directives and support of the Ruler of Sharjah to the organisation, adding that the family award aims to consolidate Arab family bonds.

A number of dignitaries and agencies were also honoured.
