Saudi Arabia registers MERS death

 Saudi Arabia registered one death due to the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) virus and six new cases of infection, according to a statement issued by the Saudi health ministry.

Migrant Force Arab workers AGCC Labour GeneralThe death and new cases recorded on Friday were from the capital which has been witnessing a rise in the spread of the virus in the last two weeks, Xinhua reported.

The latest development has put the toll up to 486 since the first reported case in July 2012.
